صدر للكاتبة الإماراتية فاطمة المزروعي كتاب «أفعال الرجال»، الذي تضمن نصوصاً فكرية ناقشت عبرها الكثير من القضايا المعاصرة، خصوصاً التضحيات البطولية لأبناء الإمارات، ومعاني الوطنية التي ظهرت عبر تكاتف المجتمع الإماراتي معاً.وتحدثت عن التطرف والإرهاب، وما عرف بالإسلام السياسي، وما أحدثه في المجتمعات من بغضاء وتناحر، ومحاولات جماعات التطرف اختطاف الدين الحنيف.وضم الكتاب مواضيع عن التربية، وكيفية مواجهة التقنيات الحديثة والتعامل معها بعيداً عن المنع والإقصاء، إضافة إلى نصوص تحدثت من خلالها المزروعي عن مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وكيفية تسريب الشائعات والأكاذيب، ومحاولة النيل من ثوابت المجتمعات والعادات والتقاليد.وتأخذ المزروعي القارئ في منجزها الجديد في رحلة من الوفاء لمن بذل النفس والروح فداء للوطن، وهي تمجد الشهداء وتعلي من فعلهم وما قاموا به، من خلال النصوص المنوعة في الكتاب.وصف المدير العام لدار كتاب للنشر والتوزيع، جمال الشحي، كتاب «أفعال الرجال» بأنه كتاب مهم جاء في وقته لما احتواه من نصوص ومعلومات وقضايا وطنية حيوية ومعنى الولاء ومساعدة الأشقاء.وتابع: «الكثير من القضايا والمواضيع التي نعيشها ونشاهدها تقع في عالمنا العربي ستجد أن الكاتبة قد ناقشتها في هذا الكتاب، كذلك هي لم تغفل الحديث عن التربية والمجتمع وكيفية التعامل مع الكثير من الظواهر الحديثة والجديدة على الناس، وكيفية التغلب عليها ومعالجتها العلاج الأمثل».
“The Work of Men”…. An intellectual book loaded with gratitude to those who sacrifice their lives for their country
Author Fatima Al Mazrouei published her book entitled “The Work of Men”, which comprises several meaningful bits that discuss contemporary affairs, notably the heroic sacrifices of UAE nationals and the sense of patriotism that was manifested through the tightening of the social fabric. In her book, Fatima tackles the topics of extremism and terrorism, and what we know today as political Islam, a faith that has sown discord and resentment across populations, as well as the attempts of extremist groups to falsely act in the name of the righteous religion. “The Work of Men” also covers education and the means to cope with new technologies without having to ban or exclude them, and the use – or perhaps the misuse - of the social network to leak rumors and lies with the aim of shaking the constants of societies, customs and traditions.
Throughout the book, Al Mazrouei takes us on a journey of allegiance to those who have put their souls on the line in sacrifice for their land; she glorifies the martyrs and honors their valiant work.
